How is Scry different from TeamViewer or AnyDesk?+

Scry is built for personal use, not enterprise helpdesk. No per-seat pricing, no hidden usage caps, no upsell pressure. Free covers real daily use; Pro unlocks power features like multi-monitor, file transfer, and browser access.

Is the free tier actually usable?+

Yes. Free includes unattended access to your own Macs and PCs, native clients on every platform, end-to-end encryption, text clipboard sync, remote reboot, and basic support sessions. It's a complete product, not a crippled demo.

What is Stealth Mode?+

Some hotel, airline, and corporate networks block remote-desktop traffic by protocol fingerprint. Stealth Mode tunnels your session inside standard HTTPS so it looks identical to normal web traffic — and stays connected where other remote tools fail.

Who should not use Scry?+

IT admins managing fleets. Scry is consumer-focused: no SSO, SCIM, audit logging, RBAC, or tenant policies. If you need those, pick an enterprise-grade tool. If you need to get back to your own Mac from a coffee shop, you're in the right place.
