What a free Linktree page is like
Credit where it is due: Linktree defined this category, it is reliable, and its paid tiers fund a real ecosystem of integrations, from media embeds to commerce blocks. If your link page is effectively a storefront, it is a serious tool with years of polish behind it.
The free plan is a funnel, though, and it behaves like one. Free pages carry Linktree's branding, the deeper analytics and customization you eventually want sit in paid tiers, and the product keeps you aware of what upgrading would unlock. None of that is scandalous; it is just the shape of a freemium business. It does mean the free page you publish is partly an advertisement for the tool that made it.
How this alternative is different, honestly

Is this actually free, or free until it matters?
Actually free. The builder, themes, click counts, photo upload, and up to ten pages are all included with a free Bravely account. There is no paid tier, so there is nothing to upsell you into. Bravely Studios earns its living on paid desktop apps; free tools like this one are how we introduce ourselves.
Will my page have branding on it?
A single small “Made with Bravely” text line sits in the footer, and that is the whole footprint. No logo overlay on your content, no banner inviting your visitors to build their own page, no ads between your links.
What does Linktree honestly do better?
Ecosystem and integrations. Linktree has spent years building embeds, commerce features, and a marketplace of add-ons, and if you need those, it is genuinely the better pick. We do not have an integration marketplace and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we offer is the core product, complete and free.
Can I move my Linktree links over?
There is no automatic importer. Moving is manual, but a link page is small: opening your old page and pasting each link into the builder takes a few minutes, and your draft saves as you go.
Do analytics or themes cost extra here?
No. Per-link, per-day click counts and every theme are included on every page. Nothing on this tool is held back for a paid plan.
Can I use a custom domain like paid plans elsewhere allow?
Not yet. Pages publish at links.bravely.dev/l/your-handle, and we would rather say a plain not-yet than promise a date. If a custom domain is a hard requirement today, a paid plan elsewhere is the honest recommendation.
