Install Sticki.ly

The Sticki.ly disk image window: drag the Sticki.ly icon along the arrow onto the Applications folder to install.

  1. Open

    Open Stickily.dmg from your Downloads folder.

  2. Drag

    Drag Sticki.ly into your Applications folder.

  3. Launch

    Open Sticki.ly from Applications. macOS checks the signature once, then it opens.

  4. Find it

    Sign in, then look for Sticki.ly in your menu bar. It has no Dock icon.

    Open Stickily-Setup.exe from your Downloads folder.

  2. Allow

    If Windows shows a warning, choose More info, then Run anyway. The installer is signed by Bravely Studios LLC.

  3. Launch

    Sticki.ly installs just for you, with no administrator prompt. Open it and sign in with your Bravely Account.

  4. Find it

    Sticki.ly lives in the system tray, down by the clock. Click its icon to open your stickis.

  2. Launch

    Sticki.ly shows up in your app menu and keeps itself up to date. Open it and sign in.

  3. Find it

    Click its icon in the system tray. On a desktop without tray icons it opens as a window.

    Find Stickily.AppImage in your Downloads folder.

  2. Allow

    Right-click it, open Properties, and allow it to run as a program.

  3. Launch

    Double-click it and sign in with your Bravely Account.

  4. Find it

    Click its icon in the system tray. On a desktop without tray icons it opens as a window.

Can’t install Sticki.ly?

  • The download did not start

    Download Stickily.dmg again (13 MB).

  • Sticki.ly does not open

    Drag Sticki.ly into your Applications folder and open it from there. macOS checks the signature once, then it opens. It has no Dock icon: look for it in the menu bar.

  • The Auto Sticki shortcut does nothing

    Turn Auto Sticki on in Sticki.ly’s Settings. Then open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Accessibility, and allow Sticki.ly.

  • My stickis don’t show up on another device

    Sign in the same way on every device (Apple, Google or email). Different sign-in methods can make two separate accounts. Changes usually arrive within a minute.

    The shortcuts need an X11 desktop. Send Clipboard in the Auto Sticki panel always works. For one-press paste, install xdotool.

Your first few minutes

Post your first sticki

  1. Open Sticki.ly and sign in with your Bravely Account.
  2. Type anything you want to keep handy, then post it.
  3. It shows up on every other device signed in to the same account the same way.

Attach a file

  1. Open a sticki.
  2. Drop a file on it, or use its Attach button.
  3. The file goes with the sticki to your other devices. Attach a new one and it replaces the old.

Send your clipboard

  1. Copy something on one device.
  2. Open Auto Sticki and choose Push clipboard (on a computer, Send Clipboard; turn Auto Sticki on in Settings first).
  3. On your other device, open Auto Sticki and tap the item to copy it.
