Privacy Policy — ASAPDF

Last updated: May 30, 2026 · Effective: May 30, 2026

Bravely Studios LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the ASAPDF application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Introduction

ASAPDF is a PDF tool for signing, editing, and sending documents for signature across your devices. We designed it to collect as little about you as possible: signing your own documents works without sharing them with us, and we collect information mainly to sync your documents when you ask us to, send documents you choose to other people for signature, process purchases, verify Pro access, and improve the app. This policy describes what is collected and how to limit it. ASAPDF is in active development; this policy reflects current plans and will be kept up to date as the product ships.

What We Collect

Your documents: when you only view, annotate, fill, or sign a document on your own device, that document stays on your device. When you turn on cross-device sync or send a document for signature, the document and its signature data are stored encrypted in our cloud storage so it can reach your other devices or the people you send it to. You control which documents this applies to. When you send for signature: we process the recipient details you provide (such as an email address or a phone number, depending on the flow you choose) solely to deliver the signing request and record who signed and when in the document's audit trail. For Pro activation and entitlement checks: when you activate ASAPDF Pro, the app signs in to your Bravely Account and sends the account identifier needed to verify your purchase, along with basic device and app-version information used for compatibility and activation diagnostics. Payment card details and billing information are handled exclusively by our merchant-of-record billing provider (web/desktop) or the applicable app store (mobile) — we never see or store them. For product analytics: the apps can send aggregate product analytics such as onboarding completion, paywall views, signing-flow usage, subscription activation results, and update installs. Events are keyed to an anonymous install identifier unless you activate Pro, in which case events may be associated with your Bravely Account so we can troubleshoot entitlement issues. The contents of your documents are never sent to analytics.

Recipients & Signers

When you send a document for signature, the people you send to can open and sign it from a link or a scanned code without creating an account. We collect the information needed to complete and evidence the signing — such as the recipient identifier you supply, the signature they apply, a timestamp, and basic request metadata like IP address and device — and store it as part of the signed document and its audit trail. We do not use recipient contact details for marketing.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any of the following: • The contents of documents you only handle locally on your device • Location data beyond the coarse request metadata recorded for signing audit trails • Contacts, calendars, photos, camera, or microphone data, except files or signature captures you explicitly provide • Advertising identifiers • Browsing history from outside the app

Opting Out of Analytics

You can disable product analytics at any time in Settings → Privacy on each device. When disabled, no analytics events are sent from that installation. Purchase activation, entitlement checks, document sync (if you enabled it), send-for-signature delivery, and update checks remain necessary for those features to work while you use them.

Third-Party Services

We share the minimum information required to deliver the product with service providers that handle payments and billing, entitlement reconciliation, product analytics, hosting, encrypted document and attachment storage, message delivery for send-for-signature, and app updates. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Data Retention

Documents you keep only on your device, settings, and cached Pro state stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Documents you sync or send for signature, and their audit trails, are retained in encrypted cloud storage until you delete them or close your account, subject to any retention required to evidence a completed signature. Server-side purchase and activation records (such as Bravely Account identifier, contact email, entitlement status, and activation request metadata) are retained for as long as needed to honor your purchase, troubleshoot entitlement issues, and prevent abuse. Analytics events are retained for up to 365 days. You can request deletion of your server-side records by emailing jeff@bravely.dev.

Children's Privacy

ASAPDF is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
