What Run1.ai does
Schedule AI tasks
Write a prompt once, pick a cadence, and let your Claude Code or Codex subscription run it on its own — daily, weekly, or any time you say.
Hand off between AIs
One task's output is the next task's input. Chain agents together so research feeds writing feeds review — no manual copy-paste, no babysitting.
Watch it run on a Gantt
Every scheduled task, every dependency, every run history — laid out on a real Gantt chart you can scroll through. See what's queued, what's running, what failed.
Free vs Pro
Free is a complete single-host orchestrator. Pro adds anything that scales beyond one machine or asks Run1 to do real work in the background on your behalf.
Simple pricing
Free tier is a real product, not a teaser. Pro is for when you outgrow one machine or one run-per-day.
Free
forever
5 agents, daily cadence, single host. Both AIs, dependencies, Gantt — included.

How it works
Sign in
One account. Your agent setup follows you across machines, so the next Mac you set up is one sign-in away from picking up exactly where the last one left off.
Pick your AI tools
Bring your existing Claude Code subscription, your Codex subscription, or both. Run1 detects what you've already installed and helps you sign in to anything that's missing.
Schedule your first agent
Pick a starter template (Daily Researcher, Engineer, Personal Assistant) or write your own. Set a cadence. The next time it runs, you're already doing something else.
Start from a template
Each template seeds an agent with a role and one or two tasks at sane defaults. Edit anything before you save, or start from a blank agent.
Daily Researcher
Scans the news in your industry and writes a one-paragraph brief every morning.
Personal Assistant
Summarizes your inbox and surfaces what needs a response today.
Engineer
Builds your project, opens a PR if anything changed, posts the diff to you.
Custom
Your role, your prompt, your cadence. Start from a blank agent and shape it.
Questions, answered
Do I need a Codex or Claude Code subscription?+
Yes. Run1 runs the AI subscriptions you already pay for — your existing Claude Code subscription, your Codex subscription, or both. We don't bill per token or resell access. The whole point is that your AI subscriptions stop being idle.
Does Run1 store my AI conversations?+
Outputs from each scheduled run are saved as files on your Mac, organized per agent. On Pro, those same files mirror to a 5 GB cloud pool so other machines and (eventually) your phone can read them. Free tier keeps everything local.
What about Windows and Linux?+
Mac is v1. Windows and Linux clients are next once Mac is proven. The same data model and account follow you across every platform we ship.
Is there a mobile app?+
Not at launch. Mobile companions are planned as monitor-only — read state, view the Gantt, get push alerts when something fails or finishes. They aren't a place to author or edit agents.
Can I run agents on more than one machine?+
Free tier runs everything on the Mac you installed it on. Pro lets you register additional machines (Mac today, Windows and Linux when those ship) and dispatch tasks to them over SSH so your laptop isn't the only thing doing the work.
What does the free tier actually include?+
A complete single-host orchestrator. 5 agents, unlimited tasks per agent, both AIs, real dependencies, real Gantt, local file pool, run history, in-app notifications, start at login. The cap is cadence (daily floor) and machine count (one). Everything else is free.
Why a lifetime price on a service like this?+
Because we're not paying per token on your behalf — your AI subscription does that. The only ongoing cost we carry is the optional cloud file pool, which is capped at 5 GB. That makes a one-time price honest, not a future trap.
